The dock quay was looking good on this sunny spring day and Esbjerg showed off from its most beautiful side when the Finnish Ambassador to Denmark, Harri Kämäräinen visited HØST PtX Esbjerg office. Claus Vissing-Jørgensen, our HØST EPC Director, was hosting the visit and talked about both the exciting technical development as well as the HØST project.
Interest from the Nordics
Our project has spurred an interest in many places, and we are very pleased that Power-to-X receives attention in other parts of the Nordic region. Finland is also very interested in the green transition, and it is interesting to exchange opinions and experience on this topic, says Claus Vissing-Jørgensen, who also had the opportunity to learn more about developments in Finland.
Notable Finnish companies
There are some significant, Finnish companies like for example Wärtsilä, who are frontrunners in the development of ammonia-driven engines for the maritime sector, and others, who are specialising in the production of green steel. It goes without saying that these companies are interesting business partners for a company like HØST PtX Esbjerg, and therefore, it is of great value for all parties to learn from each other and exchange ideas.
